Limited Product Warranty

1. LIMITED WARRANTY

Black Line Forge Co. warrants the LED components and electrical components of the product itself against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

This warranty applies only where the product is found to have a manufacturing defect or component failure that occurred under normal use.

Examples of defects that may be covered include:

• Individual LEDs failing prematurely due to a manufacturing defect;
• Factory-installed wiring or electrical connections failing due to a manufacturing defect;
• Other internal component failures determined by Black Line Forge Co. to be the result of a manufacturing defect.

2. EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does NOT cover damage, failure , malfunction, or loss resulting from:

• Improper installation
• Incorrect wiring
• Incorrect voltage or polarity
• Electrical shorts, surges, or other vehicle electrical problems
• Installation into a vehicle or application for which the product was not designed
• Modification, cutting, splicing, rewiring, opening, disassembly, or alteration of the product
• Physical damage, impacts, crushing, bending, abrasion, or collision
• Damage caused by wheels, tires, suspension components, brakes, road debris, or other vehicle components
• Improper mounting or securing of the product
• Water intrusion resulting from installation, modification, or damage
• Pressure washing or high pressure water directed at the product or its connections
• Chemicals, solvents, cleaners, or corrosive substances
• Overheating or exposure to temperatures outside normal operating conditions
• Abuse, misuse, neglect, accidents, or racing/off-road use
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage occurring during installation or removal
• Any product that has been modified after purchase.

3. INSTALLATION

Black Line Forge Co. does not perform or supervise installation unless expressly agreed to in writing.

The purchaser is solely responsible for determining whether the product is appropriate for their vehicle, application, and installation method.

The purchaser is responsible for all installation, wiring, mounting, electrical connections, and related work.

Black Line Forge Co. is not responsible for damage to a vehicle, vehicle electrical system, wiring, battery, alternator, computer modules, lighting systems, body panels, wheels, tires, suspension, brakes, or any other property resulting from installation or use of the product.

4. PERSONAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Black Line Forge Co. does not assume responsibility for personal injury, death, property damage, vehicle damage, loss of use, downtime, towing, labour, installation costs, removal costs, reinstallation costs, diagnostic costs, or any other indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar loss arising from the installation, use, misuse, modification, or failure of the product.

Nothing in this warranty is intended to exclude or limit any right, remedy, liability, or protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

5. WARRANTY REMEDY

If Black Line Forge Co. determines that a product contains a defect covered by this warranty, Black Line Forge Co. may, at its discretion:

• Repair the defective component
• Replace the defective component
• Replace the defective product
• Provide another reasonable remedy permitted by applicable law.

The warranty remedy is limited to the defect product or component itself. Black Line Forge Co. does not cover labour, installation, removal, reinstallation, vehicle repairs, diagnostic charges, downtime, towing, rental vehicles, or other costs associated with a warranty claim except where required by applicable law.

6. WARRANTY CLAIMS

Warranty claims must be submitted to Black Line Forge Co. within the applicable warranty period.

The purchaser may be required to provide:

• Proof of purchase
• A description of the issue
• Photographs and/or video demonstrating the alleged defect
• Photographs of the installation and wiring
• Additional information reasonably requested by Black Line Forge Co.
• The product itself for inspection and testing where reasonably required.

Black Line Forge Co. reserves the right to inspect and test a product before determining whether a warranty claim is valid.

A product that is functioning normally or that has failed due to an excluded cause is not considered defective under this warranty.

7. ORIGINAL PURCHASER

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless Black Line Forge Co. agrees otherwise in writing

8. NO EXTENSION OF WARRANTY

A repair or replacement under this warranty does not restart or extend the original warranty period

9. NO OTHER VOLUNTARY WARRANTY

Except as expressly stated in this limited warranty, Black Line Forge Co. does not voluntarily provide any additional warranty, guarantee, promise, or representation regarding the products performance, lifespan, installation, or suitability for a particular application.

Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights or protections that apply to the purchaser under applicable law.

10. APPLICABLE LAW

This warranty is subject to applicable laws and consumer protection requirements. Where any provision of this warranty is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Black Line Forge Co. reserves the right to update these warranty terms for future purchases. The warranty terms applicable to a purchase are those in effect at the time of that purchase.

11. LEGAL COMPLIANCE AND VEHICLE USE

The purchaser is solely responsible for ensuring that the installation, configuration, colour, brightness, location, operation, and use of Black Line Forge Co. products comply with all applicable federal, provincial, municipal, traffic, vehicle-equipment, lighting, and other laws, regulations, bylaws, and requirements applicable to the purchaser and their vehicle.

Black Line Forge Co. does not represent or warrant that any product is legal for use on any particular vehicle, on public roads, or in any particular jurisdiction.

The purchaser is responsible for determining whether the product may legally be installed or operated on their vehicle and for operating the products only in circumstances where such operation is lawful.

Black Line Forge Co. is not responsible, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for any ticket, fine, charge, citation, inspection failure, vehicle seizure, order to remove or modify the product, insurance consequence, legal proceeding, penalty, or other consequence arising from the purchasers installation or use of the product.

The purchaser acknowledges that laws and enforcement practices may vary by jurisdiction and may change over time. The purchaser should consult the applicable laws or a qualified authority before operating the product on public roads.

Nothing in this section is intended to exclude or limit any liability, right, remedy, or protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
